FLOW3 at Plat_Forms 2011: Enabling people to compare
The Plat_Forms contest is a competition in which top-class teams of three programmers compete to implement the same requirements for a web-based system within two days, using different technology platforms.
The complete lineup of contestants will be:
- The FLOW3 Team, Globalpark, Mayflower and Mindworks for the PHP platform
- Accenture, Cordys, SIB Visions and Kayak for the Java platform
- #austria.pm, Perl Ecosystem Group and Shadowcat for the Perl platform
- Infopark, Lesscode, makandra and tmp8 for the Ruby platform
We're looking forward to meeting Robert & Karsten, the two FLOW3 godfathers, here in Nuremberg. Not only is it going to be exciting to see how FLOW3 can perform in the contest - we're also planning to provide our guests with their fair share of Franconian culture.
As far as the contest rules permit, we'll also try to cover the ongoing competition here on our site.
